Enalees is a French biotech company based in the Greater Paris region (France) since 2016. The company provides state-of-the-art rapid molecular biology diagnostic tests for veterinary clinics to detect infectious diseases. It also offers expertise in development and in lyophilization production for third parties in animal health, the environment and the agri-food sector.
Enalees’ tests use Loop-mediated isothermal AMPlification (LAMP) PCR technology to detect genetic material from pathogens (viruses, bacteria and parasites). Lyophilisation of Enalees tests allows them to be used at point of care and gives them a long shelf life. Tests can be performed in clinics or in the field using a portable reader and kits containing all the required reagents. Results are obtained in just 30 minutes.
Enalees’ rapid LAMP PCR tests enable veterinarians to make a diagnosis in case of a suspected infectious disease, without sending the sample off to an external laboratory.
These innovative tests are designed for a wide variety of animals. In France 90% of equine clinics are equipped with Enalees’ device.
